AQUAFERM STAINBLOCK is an acrylic stain insulating primer for indoor and outdoor use. It is suitable for blocking stains on the walls such as nicotine, smoke, humidity spots, pencil or pen marks, lipstick, extracts from tropical wood, etc. It is applied to all surfaces that need an insulating coverage primer before applying plastic, acrylic, water-based varnishes or decorative paints. Seals the surface. High cover power. Ensures a smooth surface for premium finishes. Practically odourless during application. ATTENTION DUE TO ITS SPECIAL COMPOSITION, DO NOT COLOR.

Preparation

A basic condition for good results is the diligent preparation. Remove all weathered-peeled off coatings, dust, oils, salts and mildew. Surface must be clean and dry. Putty any surface defects.
Prime locally with AQUAFERM STAINBLOCK. Apply AQUAFERM STAINBLOCK on the entire surface.

Use

Roller, brush or spray airless. Thin by 10-30% with DEIONIZED WATER.

► Stir well before use and during application.
► Apply 1-2 coats with roller, brush or airless paint sprayer. Thinned with DEIONIZED WATER by 0-10%.

Drying out - coverage

Drying times are dependent on ambient temperature and film thickness.

Touch dry: 1-2 hours.

Recoat: 4-24 hours.

Practical coverage: 12-16m²/L depending on the thickness of each coat and the surface porosity.
